Sapphire Oolong is a very smooth, delicate tea with sweet and earthy notes. Named after it’s unique geology, our tea is specially grown in a small tea garden where the soil is laced with tiny sapphires. Most of theses sapphires are smaller than a pin-head while some have the qualities we value in small gemstones. The mineral richness of the soil in Ceylon, an island known for it’s legendary deposits of sapphires and other gemstones, produces a premium tea that is sure to delight.

Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea that contains antioxidants, is low in tannin and caffeine, containing 30 milligrams of caffeine per 5 ounce cup. Some studies suggest drinking oolong tea can enhance the body’s ability to metabolize fat.
Brewing Instructions:
Always use fresh water. Pure spring water always brings out the very best tea liquor.
Sapphire Oolong can be brewed three times using the same infusion.
Bring water to boil. Do not over boil.
Use 3 grams of tea per person per cup. One teaspoon is the correct amount.
Let it steep for 5 minutes, pour into cup & drink.
